How to Prepare Sangria de Cava

Sparkling Wine Cocktail

To make your very first glass of refreshing, bubbly Sangria de Cava loaded with delicious, earthy-flavoured fruity goodness, you will need to make sure to have the following ingredients:

  • 2 (750-ml) bottles of well chilled Cava (the most beautiful and popular Spanish white), or as a plan B, you can use any other quality sparkling wine at your preference.
  • 2 cups of sparkling mineral water
  • 1 cup of well-chilled peach brandy
  • 1 cup of superfine sugar
  • 4 cups of rinsed and drained berries at your convenience (blackberries, blackberries, blueberries)

Once you are equipped with all the ingredients, it is ‘preparation time’. Start by stirring the mineral water, the peach brandy and the sugar together in a bowl. When the superfine sugar gets dissolved, gently poor the sparkling wine into the bowl. Half the dose of your chosen berries should float in the sangria, while the other half you should use for glass-decoration purposes.

And that’s it! You are all set to enjoy the pleasure of drinking the fantastic Sangria de Cava sparkling wine cocktail.
